SMS have partnered with FTI Förpackning & tidningsinsamlingen, who are responsible for over 5000 recycling stations across Sweden. The project is aimed at digitizing communication on site between FTI and the customer whilst creating a stronger sense of community around recycling.

The first Helios (a new outdoor digital signage solution from SMS) has been set up at a recycling station in Nacka, Stockholm as a part of a Tailored pilot program, and will be used to gauge the effectiveness of interactive digital signage in this type of scenario.

We hope this will be the first of many projects where Helios is used to create interactive digital signage for innovative projects in traditionally one function/service areas.
